Oncology Treatment Interior Renovation

The West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) in conjunction with a physician run network of medical oncology practice sites jointly determined that an alternate business arrangement would be beneficial.

The agreement involved conversion of 13 physician practice sites to hospital owned provider based.  Conversion to provider based places the practice sites under the review and auspices of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Division of Acute and Ambulatory Care.  This includes the administrative and operational protocols as well as physical requirements associated with the special organizations of the sites.
